Brad Guzan to miss 10-12 weeks with torn MCL

ATLANTA – Atlanta United today announced Brad Guzan is expected to miss an estimated 10-to-12 weeks after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at New York City FC. The injury occurred in the 18th minute when Gabe Segal contacted Guzan on a challenge during an attempted cross toward goal. Guzan will be reevaluated later during the recovery process to determine his return to the field.

Atlanta (4-1-2, 14 points) returns to action Saturday, April 15 when it travels to face Toronto FC at BMO Field (MLS Season Pass, 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
