On Friday, a number of former collegiate players will be on the edge of their seats hoping to hear their name called at the podium at this year’s 2017 MLS SuperDraft in Los Angeles, Calif.
Every MLS club will be scouring the pool of available players to find the next young addition to their squad. While the MLS Combine is still ongoing and players are currently being evaluated, some have already predicted how they believe Friday’s draft will unravel.
Almost unanimously, most mock drafts floating around have forward Jeremy Ebobisse (formerly of Duke University) as the number one overall selection, which is a pick currently held by expansion club, Minnesota United.
See below for a few mock drafts of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft:

Now remember to take these predictions with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, this is all speculation and many factors play into the clubs’ decisions such as positional needs, combine performances, trade opportunities, etc. As we’ve experienced in the past, the MLS SuperDraft is full of surprises, and this year’s draft is sure to follow suit.
You can watch the entire SuperDraft streamed LIVE online at MLSsoccer.com at 3 p.m. on Friday.
