Atlanta United 2 Signs Defender Ethan Dudley

Atlanta United 2 today announced that it has signed free agent defender Ethan Dudley. The former Northwestern defender spent the 2023 season with Crown Legacy FC before signing with Union Omaha (USL League One) ahead of their 2023 playoff run. Dudley is signed through July 16 with a team option to extend through the end of the 2024 season.

At Northwestern, Dudley was the only player to start all 17 matches in 2022 and was the team leader in minutes (1,522), goals (four) and points (10). Prior to joining the Wildcats, Dudley spent four years at Florida Gulf Coast, where he played in 48 matches and made 31 starts from 2018-21. In 2020, he was honored as the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year and selected to the ASUN All-Tournament Team.
