Atlanta looks to earn it's first win over Crown Legacy as the team fell in the first two meetings of the season. In the first meeting, Crown Legacy defeated ATL UTD 2 2-1 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on May 14. EfraΓn Morales scored his lone goal of the season off a free kick set piece sent in by Tyler Wolff towards the back post where the 19-year-old homegrown put away the header. On July 9, CLT defeated Atlanta 3-1 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex where Luke Brennan scored his second goal of the season on a through pass played in by Nick Firmino for his fourth assist of the year.
