Nathaniel Horton joined Atlanta United in December 2016 during the Academy’s first season. He joined from the Major League Soccer league office where he worked in the Player Relations & Competition department. His main responsibilities at the MLS was monitoring player disciplinary reports, youth development initiatives, and assisting with Generation Adidas Cup operations. He has also worked with Gilt Edge Soccer Marketing, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the New York Cosmos, and TopDrawerSoccer.com.
Horton received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hartwick College and a master’s degree in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University. He played in two NCAA tournament appearances at Hartwick & SNHU and in the USL-PDL for the Vermont Voltage. Horton currently holds his USSF ‘D’ License.
