Rob Geoffroy was named Chief Financial Officer of Atlanta United FC (then MLS Atlanta) in October, 2014 and concurrently holds the title of Vice President of Finance of AMB Sports & Entertainment.
He spent the last nine seasons as the Controller for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, drawing on his strong background in sports business management, accounting, finance, risk management and operations. Geoffroy also serves as a Board Member for Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers with twelve locations across the state of Georgia.
Geoffroy began his career with the NBA’s Boston Celtics in the finance department and then moved over to accounting for the NHL’s New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup Championship in 1995 before returning to the Celtics. He left the Celtics after a total of nine seasons as Director of Accounting & Operations to become the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of International Healthcare.
Geoffroy also serves in the community in the Greater Atlanta area as a board member of The Link Counseling Center www.thelink.org and the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Gwinnett Community Advisory Board.
A graduate of Bentley University, Geoffroy and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Kathryn and Samantha. The Geoffroy family resides in Suwanee, Georgia.
