Ryan Alexander became Director of Sports Science for Atlanta United on November 13, 2016.
Alexander joined the club from the U.S. Soccer Federation where he worked since 2014, serving as a sports scientist for the U.S. Men’s National Team since the beginning of 2015 and previously as a sports scientist with U.S. Women’s Youth National Teams.
Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Movement Sciences from Barry University and a doctorate degree in Sport Physiology and Sport Performance from East Tennessee State University.
