FOX Sports South

FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast is the exclusive regional television home of Atlanta United for the third consecutive season. The networks will televise 17 matches during the 2019 Major League Soccer regular season. In addition, Atlanta United LIVE pre- and postgame shows will air before and after every match on the networks.

In 2019, the first match on the networks’ schedule will be on Sunday, March 17, with Atlanta United vs Philadelphia Union on FOX Sports South. Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. A complete schedule of Atlanta United matches on the networks is attached and can be found here.

Every Atlanta United match televised on the networks can be streamed live via the free FOX Sports GO app for all subscribers of participating video providers. TALENT

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Kevin Egan joined Atlanta United in 2017 as the team’s play-by-play voice for local television broadcasts. Egan got his start in television in 2004 with Ireland’s national broadcaster RTE, covering the Olympic Games as well as the World Cup and Champions League. In 2009 he moved to Chicago to join the Big Ten Network before working on Chicago Fire broadcasts for three seasons. Egan currently works for beIN Sports, based in Miami, and has traveled to Barcelona and Madrid to cover El Clasico and led the network’s USMNT World Cup Qualifier broadcasts. He currently hosts the beIN Sports nightly soccer show called The XTRA.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Dan Gargan got his start in MLS after being drafted by the Colorado Rapids in 2005. During his 12-year MLS career, Gargan made over 200 appearances with Colorado, Toronto FC, Chicago Fire, San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy, where he won the 2014 MLS Cup. Prior to joining Atlanta United as lead color analyst, Gargan served as the broadcast analyst for LA Galaxy. He is currently the Vice President and Managing Director for Lou Fusz Athletic in St. Louis, Missouri.

Originally from Millbrook, N.Y., Jillian Sakovits enters her second season as the club's sideline reporter. After graduating from the State University of New York (SUNY) Oneonta, she started her broadcasting career as a reporter for News 12 in Westchester, N.Y. Since then, Sakovits has held various roles across the professional sports landscape, including work with MLB Advanced Media, NHL.com, the Big Ten Network and MLSsoccer.com.

SPORTS RADIO 92-9 THE GAME

92-9 The Game (WZGC-FM) features locally produced programs hosted by familiar Atlanta voices, along with headline updates every 20 minutes and a full lineup of NFL and college football play-by-play coverage. 92-9 The Game is also the OFFICIAL home of the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United.

Mike Conti returns for his second season as the radio voice of Atlanta United. Conti is also the Managing Editor of Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, and contributes daily to the station’s mid-day and afternoon shows. Additionally, he hosts the station’s pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks. Conti’s career launched in 1997 while covering Penn State Football at WMAJ in State College, Pennsylvania. He later covered PGA Golf and The Masters at WLOW-FM in Savannah, Georgia. Conti covered the New Orleans Saints and Hornets at WWL-AM in New Orleans and reported for the Atlanta Braves Radio Network at WGST-AM in Atlanta.

Jason Longshore has been the color commentator since the club's launch. He was born and raised in the Atlanta area and has been a part of the Atlanta soccer community for over 20 years. Formerly the Chief Development Officer for the Atlanta-based non-profit organization Soccer in the Streets, Longshore has worked with front offices in the NASL and NPSL and served as the Director of Operations for the Atlanta Ruckus of the A-League. Longshore currently hosts the Soccer Down Here daily radio show as well as Stoppage Time on Facebook Live for 92-9 The Game. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Longshore’s writing can often be found at Soccer Down Here and Dirty South Soccer.
