Make that three in a row for the man they call Miggy.

After his brace in Atlanta's victory over Montreal, Miguel Almirón has been named in the MLS Team of the Week for the third consecutive time by league writers for yet another outstanding performance. In addition to tucking away the equalizing penalty and adding another goal in the 2nd half scoring frenzy, the Paraguayan international recorded seven shots, tallied 68 passes in the opponent's half and boasted an 85.5% passing accuracy.

The playmaker has proven to be one of the most talented players the league has ever seen, continuing to shine in season two with the same energy, class and skill that earned him MLS Newcomer of the Year in 2017. Almirón currently leads the league in goals (6), shots (47), primary assists (4) and passes in the final third (212) and he's shown no signs of slowing down through the first eight matches of 2018.

Also receiving recognition for their performances against Montreal, 19-year-old Ezequiel Barco and free kick phenom Kevin Kratz, who were named to the MLS Team of the Week bench. Kratz's game-winning set piece is up for MLS Goal of the Week which you can vote for here.
