Hi, I’m Spike!

I am a yellow Labrador born in Smithtown, New York training to become a service dog through America’s VetDogs. I am being puppy raised in Atlanta, Georgia and will be working towards becoming a service dog for a veteran or first responder with disabilities.

Through my training I will provide a veteran, active duty service member or first responder enhanced mobility and allow them to live with pride and self-reliance. My goal is to help my handler live a more independent lifestyle. America’s VetDogs, the nonprofit that I come from, specializes in placing highly-skilled service and guide dogs to individuals with physical injuries, PTSD, hearing and vision loss among other disabilities.

During my time being raised as a puppy with Atlanta United I will be training, socializing and experiencing a variety of events and activities to prepare me for my life as a future service dog.

I am the tiniest, fluffiest member of Atlanta United and I can’t wait to see you at future matches and in our community. Please see ATL UTD Pup Guidelines for interacting with me as I have a very important job to do. Follow along with my adventures at @ATLUTDPup on Twitter and Instagram.
