How to Register
Most registration deadlines are in early October. The process is different for every state but there are several resources at your disposal to help. Georgia’s official voter website walks you through the process and helps determine your status and eligibility:
How to Vote
To vote in Georgia, you must be
- A citizen of the United States
- A legal resident of Georgia
- At least 18 years old
You must be registered to vote prior to Election Day, meet all other state requirements and have a photo ID if you choose to vote in person. If voting by mail, you must request and return an absentee ballot.
