Our March to Soccer kickoff begins with our pubs. Join us at any official Pub Partner location to cheer on the 5-Stripes as they battle it out in Washington, DC. There will be giveaways, swag, and an atmosphere you won’t want to miss.

Tuesday, March 5th

Community Day - Pop-Up Pitches
Wednesday, March 6th

Atlanta United will be “popping-up” at locations around metro-Atlanta for youth pick-up games on Wednesday, March 6 and we need our 17’s to help! We invite our fans to volunteer as a “celebrity” coach/player/helpers for the matches, pass out giveaways and get the youth in our city hyped up for the upcoming season.

All those interested, please fill out the following form by Friday, March 1 at 5:00 PM. Please note that you MUST be able to arrive to the event 30 minutes prior to the actual start time. All volunteers will be notified by the end of the week. All volunteers must be over the age of 18.

ATL UTD Block Party - presented by Bulleit
Saturday, March 9th

MLS is back! Join Atlanta United and Atlanta Sport and Social Club for the second annual Block Party. This year we are taking over Edgewood Ave with food & drinks, art, FIFA, and live entertainment you won’t want to miss. Join us the day before the first home match of the season to get hype and celebrate with your fellow 5-Stripes. Note: You must be 21 years or older to attend this event.

 Transportation & Parking

We highly discourage driving to the event. We’ve teamed up with Lyft, the official rideshare partner of Atlanta United, to help you get to and from the event safely. The designated Lyft pick up/drop off area for the Block Party is located at Die Gorgeous (452 Chamberlain St SE, Atlanta, GA 30312).

The public lot at King Memorial National Park is open and subject to availability at 450 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, and is a short 3 block walk to the Jackson Street Block Party Entrance.

Taking Marta? The Block Party is located a five blocks from the King Memorial Transit Station on the Blue/Green Rail.

There is limited paid street parking in the neighborhood surrounding the Block Party event. Please make sure to obey all posted parking signs to avoid any unpleasant surprises at the end of the day.

 Do I need a ticket?

Ticket holders will have access to the Block Party, where the live music and activities will take place. Additionally, you must have a ticket in order to redeem your complimentary beverage and souvenir cup.

 Is it really a 21+ Event?

The Block Party is exclusively 21+. No kids, no babies, no strollers, no pets will be permitted.

The street closure at Edgewood Ave (Boulevard to Jackson) will be accessible to the public of all ages. Our partner bars and restaurants will also be accessible to the public but may enforce a 21+ policy on a bar-by-bar basis.

 What is there to do?

The Block Party will have all kinds of Atlanta United themed activities including: art and live music, tailgate games, a FIFA Free Play area, foosball tables, ATL UTD retail for sale on-site, The Bud Light tailgate trailer, and plenty of bars to grab a drink.

 Are pets allowed?

As much as we love furry friends, they will not be allowed in any areas of the Atlanta United Block Party event.

 Where do I check in?

There are (2) check-in locations for the event. One is located on Boulevard & Edgewood Avenue., in front of Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium. The other is located on Edgewood Avenue & Jackson., in front of Georgia Beer Garden. Look for the Atlanta United tents!

You MUST present a valid, government issued ID at check-in. All block party attendees must be 21+ in order to receive an event wristband, and gain access to the Block Party areas.

Check-In is available from 11:45am - 5:00pm. The event ends at 6:00pm.

Please note that the Block Party is a large event, and there will likely be crowds at the majority of participating bars. We recommend bringing cash for faster service. Please be sure to tip your hard-working bar and wait staff!

 What beverage options are available?

Inside the Block Party (ticket holder access only), there are (3) block party bars, featuring the following menu:

  • Mules (Bulleit Bourbon, Lunazul Tequila, Deep Eddy Vodka)
  • Lunazul Margaritas
  • Bud Light
  • Goose Island IPA
  • Heineken
  • Specialty Craft Cocktails
  • Water

In addition to the designated drink specials each of our partner bars will have a full bar with beverages available for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased from Food Trucks.

 Can I take my beverage into the street?

Yes! You can take any alcoholic beverage from a partner bar or from the Block Party Central into the streets, however you may not be able to take items from outside a bar into the Edgewood Avenue Partner Bars, based on the bar’s discretion.

 What roads will be closed?

Edgewood Avenue SE will be closed from Boulevard to Jackson. Chamberlain Street SE will be closed from Fitzgerald to Jackson.

The streets will reopen at 9:00pm on Saturday, March 9th.

 Entertainment schedule

DJ EU will be back and spinning throughout the day. Additional surprise special performances will take place on stage. You don’t want to miss it.

 How do I redeem my complimentary drink and souvenir cup?

Ticket holders will receive their complimentary beverage and souvenir cup upon entry.

 Is there food available?

There will be (8) food vendors in the Block Party with food available for purchase. Additionally, several of our partner bars will be running day-of food specials for the duration of the block party.

 Can I volunteer at the Block Party?

Matchday March
Sunday, March 10th

This is the moment we've been waiting for. Atlanta United makes its home debut at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against FC Cincinnati on Sunday, March 10th. The stadium will be opened to its expanded configuration with 70,000+ fans in attendance to roar on the 5-Stripes as they return to our soccer sanctuary. It's time to be rowdy and proud.
