Atlanta United 2 announced today that it will resume its previously suspended match with Ottawa Fury FC on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia.

The match, originally played on June 16, will resume in the 44th minute with a score of 1-1. Both teams will be permitted to make a maximum of six changes to their lineup prior to the resumption of the contest, while also retaining three substitutions.

The remainder of the contest will be streamed live. Fans who purchased a ticket to the original match will receive information via email to exchange a voucher that can be redeemed for an upcoming 2018 ATL UTD 2 match. Any questions can be submitted to fans@atlutd.com.

The original match began following a 3-hour and 1-minute delay due to inclement weather. ATL UTD 2 and Fury FC played to a 1-1 score before lightning in the area of Coolray Field forced the match to be abandoned in the 44th minute.

ATL UTD 2 scored in the third minute after Andrew Carleton forced an own-goal by Ottawa’s Eddie Edward. Kevin Oliveira equalized for Fury FC in the 10th minute.
