As the final event of a four-part series with jersey sponsor American Family Insurance, Atlanta United will host open tryouts in Atlanta on Dec. 17-18. From the three previous tryouts, a total of eight players have been invited back.
The two-day event will be held at Fowler Park in Cumming, located at 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming, Ga. All players interested in trying out can register online at www.atlutd.com/dreamtryouts. On each day, the tryout will run from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., with check-in beginning at 8 a.m.
Technical staff members from both Atlanta United Academy and the First Team will be on hand to run, and scout, the two-day tryout. This is the fourth tryout that Atlanta United has hosted with previous stops coming in Charlotte, N.C. and Birmingham, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn.
The American Family Insurance Dream Tryouts were created to give aspiring athletes the opportunity to try out for Atlanta United. Consisting of four professional tryouts taking place across the Southeast, the American Family Insurance Dream Tryouts are a great way for up- and-coming players to get on the radar early.
