Availability report: International break renders five Atlanta United players out

Though Atlanta United will be without five veteran names for their match against New York City FC Saturday night, there's still plenty reason to be intrigued about the 5-Stripes chances in an all-important Eastern conference fixture. 

For starters, Breel Embolo and Cooper Sanchez will stay with the 5-Stripes for the match despite also receiving call-ups. Head coach Tata Martino already said defender Daniel Chica and midfielder Cameron Dunbar are preparing to receive Short-Term Agreements. We'll see if that's the last of the moves the coaching staff plans to make down five members of the First Team. 

Tomás Jacob is also notably not named to the availability report. The fullback suffered an injury that forced him off the pitch last Saturday against Portland Timbers, and he'd be a big boost to the 5-Stripes' defensive setup if he is ready to go.

As for the five Atlanta United players unavailable, it'll be Miguel Almirón, Júnior Alonso, Paulo Díaz, Alexey Miranchuk and Fafa Picault to miss the match.
