BRANDON BUTLER

Brandon Butler – Atlanta Native | CEO of Butter.ATL

A graduate of both Georgia Southern University and Georgia Tech, Brandon Butler is a seasoned digital marketing executive. He has led successful digital and creative teams at Accenture, Edelman, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, and NBA Digital before embarking on his most successful and well-known venture to date, Butter.ATL.

With Butler at the helm, Butter has become Atlanta’s definitive culture channel and a sought-after stage for the city’s cultural icons with over 120,000 followers. Butter.ATL launched on Instagram in 2018, inserting the brand into Atlanta’s zeitgeist. The company created a unique lane highlighting the city’s culture through brand partnerships and sharing news and relatable memes. It’s caught the eyes of everyone in Atlanta, with Atlanta icons Big Boi and Killer Mike joining the Butter.ATL partnership board in 2022. Although Butter.ATL was originally launched in partnership with a local ad agency, Butler  is now majority owner and CEO of Butter and also serves as a partner and Chief Content Officer for Majority.

Brandon Butler is featured in the 2023 Atlanta United FC production ‘Inside the 404’, where he touches on how the culture of Atlanta in the 90s influenced his career and perspective in life. ‘Inside the 404’ is a documentary produced by Atlanta United FC in collaboration with Atlanta Influences Everything, as part of the launch of the 404 Kit, Atlanta United’s 2023 third kit.
