Atlanta United gamers Paulo Neto and Young have qualified with the Brazilian eNational Team to the FIFAe Nations World Cup to take place in July.

This past weekend, the 5-Stripes duo were called up by the National Team coach gabgol7 to the FIFAe Nations Playoffs. The team got together in Sao Paulo, Brazil to play each one of their ten games of the Group Stage, against Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Brazil went on to lead the group by earning seven wins and three draws in those ten games, which put them through to the winner bracket where they beat Venezuela in the semifinals 4-1 (aggr.) and later Argentina in the grand final 4-2 (aggr.). This meant Brazil became South American champions and earned the top seed to the FIFAe Nations Cup, where the top 24 national teams will compete to be World Champion. Brazil is the defending champion.

Paulo and Young will now have the chance to represent Brazil at the biggest international stage for EA Sports FIFA 23 gamers.

Details about the competition will be revealed at a later date.
