Sumitha Melathe, MARTA employee
āI fell in love with soccer when I attended my first Atlanta United match. The moment I attended my first ATL UTD tailgate, the hype circle, the chants, the Supporters' March, the hitting of the Golden Spike, the beer showers. It was electric.ā

Chris Pae, Footie Mob supporter
āI've been able to make lifelong friends through soccer I wouldn't have been able to make otherwise. Especially in Footie Mob where we just greet everybody with a hug, we care about each other.ā©It's just a great community to be a part of.ā

Tamara Hunte, MARTA employee
āIām not from Atlanta, but itās become my home. Iām originally from Panama, Central America, and many people in Atlanta arenāt from here either. Thatās why Atlanta is so rich in culture, itās because of the diversity, inclusivity, family atmospheres.ā

Sergio Guerrero, LA12 suppoter
āSoccer culture unites everybody. The team is really diverse and so is the city, with different walks of life. What brings us together is the team and supporting the team. Makes it makes it fun and eventful.ā

Andrew Pofahl, MARTA employee
āSpeaking to the values of Atlantans, I think that we're a place of opportunity. We're a place of growth, and I think that soccer, the growth of soccer here and the soccer community here exemplifies opportunity for people.ā

Jason Sargis, Resurgence supporter
āWe are a huge community and family. There are people from every background. We have great music, there's good communion, and we do a lot of community service and partnerships with different other nonprofits. Itās really beautiful to see everybody get together and get rowdy for one team.ā
