Atlanta travels to BBVA Compass Stadium to take on Birmingham for the second of four meetings this season. ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 2-1 win over FC Tulsa Wednesday night. Amadou Macky Diop and Ajani Fortune both netted their first goal of the season, while Abdoulaye Diop appeared in his first match of the season. Additionally, Rocco Ríos Novo saved a penalty to help his squad secure the win.

Birmingham returns home with three points after a 2-1 win versus Indy Eleven. Jonathan Dean’s goal in stoppage time lifted Legion FC over Indy to earn three points on the road. Going into Saturday’s match, Birmingham sits in second in the Central Division with 25 points, while Atlanta is fifth in the division with 17 points.
