ATL UTD 2 will take on FC Tulsa for its first meeting of the 2021 season. Atlanta is coming off a 2-2 draw against OKC Energy FC last Sunday. MatÃas BenÃtez netted his first goal for the club in his debut, and Homegrown Tyler Wolff secured the late equalizer for his first professional goal. Connor Stanley also made his ATL UTD 2 debut in Sunday’s match.
FC Tulsa currently stands first overall in the Central Division and is looking to stay undefeated. In its last match, Tulsa defeated Indy Eleven 2-0 on May 8. Joaquin Rivas recorded both goals in the match to bring him to four goals in three games this season. Goalkeeper Sean Lewis has been a consistent presence for Tulsa with two clean sheets in three appearances.
Wednesday’s match marks the first ever meeting between the two clubs and it is the first of four matchups this season.
