Atlanta United suffered a tough 2-1 loss on Wednesday to New England at Gillette Stadium, where the Revs have been undefeated all season. Atlanta set a season-high 11 shots on target, and its 24 total shots were the most shots in club history in a road match. Orlando is also looking to rebound from a road loss after losing 4-0 to Real Salt Lake last Saturday, which was the most goals they had allowed in a single match this season.

Series History and Last Meeting

Atlanta has been the dominant side in the history between these two clubs with a record of 9-3-7. When the 5-Stripes traveled to Exploria Stadium earlier this season, it looked like Orlando would secure three points at home. However, Homegrown and second half substitute Tyler Wolff scored the equalizer in the 87th minute to level the score 1-1 and split the points.

Players To Watch

Thiago Almada (Atlanta United) – The Argentine midfielder is right on the verge of double-digital goals and assists, with eight and 10, respectively. In Wednesday's match against New England, Almada hit season highs of nine shots, five on target. He had a spectacular goal and assist in Atlanta's last home match against Philadelphia. The 5-Stripes will look to Almada again on Saturday, whether it's in live play or on set pieces.

Duncan McGuire (Orlando City) – The 22-year-old striker has become a force for Orlando in his rookie season. Since being selected No. 6 overall at the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, McGuire is tied as the leading-scorer on the team this season with seven goals, three of which he scored after coming off the bench. He has also added two assists to make nine total goal contributions in just 750 minutes of play.
