A debut to remember gives Adrian Gill a platform to build on, and he's earned head coach Tata Martino's trust to start against Minnesota United. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET as the 5-Stripes go for a reversal of their recent road form.

Gill's start against Red Bull New York Saturday night was collected and confident, and he'll join a trio of continuity in the midfield for the 5-Stripes against the Loons. Tristan Muyumba, who scored the equalizer Saturday, joins Gill and Cooper Sanchez in the pivotal area of the pitch.

Stian Gregersen returning to the XI stands out in the defense, where he's joined by Júnior Alonso. Tomás Jacob and Elías Báez start at the fullback positions, and Lucas Hoyos prepares for his 20th start of the MLS regular season.

Up top, Miguel Almirón sits one assist shy of the club's all-time record. He'll be gunning to make history tonight alongside Alexey Miranchuk and Fafa Picault, who both had goal contributions Saturday night.

Here's the full starting XI for Atlanta United at Minnesota United:

Lucas Hoyos, Tomás Jacob, Júnior Alonso, Stian Gregersen, Elías Báez, Adrian Gill, Tristan Muyumba, Cooper Sanchez, Alexey Miranchuk, Miguel Almirón (C), Fafa Picault

Reserves: Jayden Hibbert, Ronald Hernández, Matt Edwards, Enea Mihaj, Paulo Díaz, Steven Alzate, Luke Brennan, Cayman Togashi, Sergio Santos

Roster Notes:

-- Adrian Gill will make the start for his second consecutive match with Atlanta United after debuting Saturday night. The 20-year-old American completed 41-of-43 pass attempts against Red Bull New York.

-- Miguel Almirón captains the 5-Stripes on the verge of making club history. He assisted Atlanta United's winning goal over the weekend to tie the club's all-time assists record. He and Brooks Lennon have 41.

-- Stian Gregersen returns to the lineup for the first time since July 25 against New England. The Norwegian center back is in line to make his 10th start of the MLS regular season.

-- Tristan Muyumba starts in rare form, having scored a goal in each of his last two matches. Before this run, the French midfielder had three goals in his Atlanta United career.

-- Fafa Picault, also fresh off a goal, lines up in a forward position for Wednesday night's match. He now has 4 goal contributions in MLS matches this season.

-- In five total matchups in their history, Atlanta United has won three against Minnesota United. Their first ever battle was Minnesota's first home match in club history back in 2017, a 6-1 win for the 5-Stripes on a snowy day.

-- For the first time in 3063 days, Atlanta United will play at Minnesota United. It's the longest gap between road fixtures by a team against a single opponent in MLS history.
