Jayden Hibbert gets a homecoming in Matchday 34 of 34. Atlanta United's backup goalkeeper for the entirety of the 2026 MLS regular season starts in his home state of New Jersey.

The 22-year-old started in eight matches in 2025 and put together some memorable performances, and he'll look to do the same as Atlanta United closes out their season against Red Bull New York. The 4 p.m. ET kickoff will see the 5-Stripes go for a first: a win at the Red Bulls.

Ahead of Hibbert in goal is Tomás Jacob, Júnior Alonso, Paulo Díaz and Elías Báez. Returning in the midfield is Tristan Muyumba, who plays alongside Giuliano Galoppo and Mauricio Amaro.

In attack, Alexey Miranchuk, Breel Embolo and captain Miguel Almirón will look to build on strides they made last time out in Atlanta United's 3-1 win over Toronto FC.

Here's the full starting XI for Atlanta United at Red Bull New York:

Jayden Hibbert, Tomás Jacob, Júnior Alonso, Paulo Díaz, Elías Báez, Mauricio Amaro, Tristan Muyumba, Giuliano Galoppo, Alexey Miranchuk, Miguel Almirón (C), Breel Embolo

Reserves: Lucas Hoyos, Matt Edwards, Enea Mihaj, Cooper Sanchez, Adrian Gill, Jay Fortune, Fafa Picault, Luke Brennan, Sergio Santos

Roster Notes:

-- Jayden Hibbert is ready to make his first start for Atlanta United in the 2026 MLS regular season after making eight in 2025. The goalkeeper will get a hometown return, hailing from New Jersey.

-- Matt Edwards and Luke Brennan are both sitting on 49 appearances in all competitions for Atlanta United. They need just one more to reach 50 in all competitions. Only four other Homegrowns have reached that total in club history (Jay Fortune, Caleb Wiley, Tyler Wolff, George Bello).

-- Miguel Almirón captains the 5-Stripes one more time in 2026. The Paraguayan leads the side with 16 goal contribution this regular season, 7 goals and 9 assists.

-- Atlanta United defeated the Red Bulls 2-1 in the reverse fixture back on August 15. They'll look to win at RBNY for the first time in club history.

-- The 5-Stripes could become just the eighth team since MLS expanded to a 34-match schedule in 2011 to not allow a goal from the penalty spot in a full season (excluding shortened 2020 season).

-- According to Sportec Solutions’ numbers, Atlanta United created it’s highest expected goals value of the season last time out against Toronto FC with 3.49. Per Opta, that xG number rose even higher to 4.60.
