Weekend Preview: Saturday's MLS NEXT matches in Philadelphia to stream live on ATLUTD.com 

All eyes are on Philadelphia this weekend, and not just for the action going on at Subaru Park.

Atlanta United’s U-15s and U-17s are also Philly-bound for an MLS NEXT matchup that will be broadcast on ATLUTD.com/live.

Both Union Academy teams enter Saturday’s contest unbeaten on the season, but neither Atlanta squad will buckle at that statistic.

Steve Covino’s U-17s—which have also taken maximum points—will be riding the momentum of a gutsy 3-2 win over D.C. United, while Omar Jarun’s U-15s (1-1-1, W-D-L) are eager to return to the win column.

While those guys are on the road, the U-12s & U-19s stay home to defend our turf.

Last Saturday, the U-19s bested Georgia Storm 4-1. David Mejia scored a brace, while Miguel Romero and Andrew de Gannes added their names to the score sheet in their third win of the season.

They head into the weekend sitting three points off the top of the Southeast Conference standings and three points ahead of their next opponent, Georgia Elephants FC.

These three points could separate them further from the pack in the early stages of the season.

In their SCCL debuts on Saturday, both U-12 groups came away with draws against Concorde Fire. Sunday, however, was a completely different story.
