Career Summary

Decas, 19, signed with Costa Rican club FC Moravia in 2017 and was loaned to Mexican second division side FC Juarez. He made his professional debut Jan. 11, 2018 against Lobos in the Copa MX Clausura. Decas was on loan to Portugal’s C.D. Nacional for the 2018/19 season and made two appearances in the top-flight of Portugal with starts against Vitoria Setubal and Benfica. He also made two starts in Allianz Cup play.

The center back has been a standout for Honduras’ Youth National Teams and recently captained the U-20 team during the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship which qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The center back also represented the U-20’s as a 17-year-old in the 2017 Concacaf U-20 Championship. He started four of Honduras’ five matches in the team’s run to the final where it lost to the United States on penalties. Later that year, Decas played in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup and started all three group stage matches for Honduras.

2018/19 (CD Nacional): Decas made two appearances in the top-flight of Portugal with starts against Vitoria Setubal (8/26) and Benfica (9/2). He also made two starts in Allianz Cup play against Setubal (9/16) and Tondela (12/28).

2017/18 (FC Juarez): Decas made his professional debut Jan. 11, 2018 against Lobos in the Copa MX Clausura. He made one appearance in Ascenso MX play and recorded his first professional assist for the game-winning goal against Atletico de San Luis in a 2-1 win (1/14). Decas made four appearances in the Copa MX Clausura.
