Wild, a Generation Adidas selection, started 55 out of 56 games of his three-year college career and scored 38 goals. He was selected by Atlanta United with the No. 37 pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. A native of Leonberg, Germany, Wild was part of the Mainz Youth Academy. He began his college career at USC Upstate where he was named Atlantic Sun Conference Rookie of the Year and was a first-team all-conference selection. He then transferred to the University of Maryland where he spent the last two seasons and was a 2016 first-team All-Big 10 selection.
2017 (University of Maryland): Made 19 appearance with 18 starts, collected five goals and two assists. Named to the preseason MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
2016 (University of Maryland): Scored 17 goals in 21 games as a sophomore. After a standout season, he was a 2016 USC First Team All-American, Big Ten Conference Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten Tournament’s Most Valuable Offensive Player.
2015 (USC Upstate): Started 15 games and scored 16 goals for University of South Carolina Upstate in 2015 where he was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-Atlantic Sun selection
