Career Summary

Moore, 26, signed with Atlanta United as a Discovery Signing on Jan. 9, 2019. He had spent his entire professional career in the English football league system, playing for three different clubs, most recently featuring for Rochdale AFC in League One. Prior to turning professional in 2015, Moore was a local star goalie at Centennial High School in Roswell, Ga. He guided the varsity team to a Georgia State Championship in 2009 and then went on to sign for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to play collegiate soccer. Moore became the starting keeper for the Tar Heels in 2013 and after two stellar years signed with League One side Fleetwood Town. After a couple of loan stints with Torquay United, Moore transferred to Rochdale from Fleetwood Town in July 2017.  

2019 (Atlanta United): Did not make an appearance for First Team this season. Was featured in two Matchday 18 squads, against Seattle and Houston. USL: Played and started in nine matches for ATL UTD 2 during his first season with the club. Recorded a clean sheet in the season opening 2-0 win vs. Hartford Athletic after making six saves. Was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 1 after his performance. Finished the season with 41 total saves and posted a 6-2-1 record, the best among ATL UTD 2 goalies in 2019.

2018/19 (Rochdale AFC): Moore played in 10 games before transferring to Atlanta United on Jan. 9, 2019. Eight of those 10 games came in League One for Rochdale, where the Roswell, Ga. native had four clean sheets. He also was in goal for Rochdale’s FA Cup First Round win against Gateshead FC (2-1). In his one EFL Trophy Cup appearance, Moore had a clean sheet against his former team Fleetwood Town.

2017/18 (Rochdale AFC): After completing a transfer to Rochdale in the summer, Moore earned eight appearances in all competitions for his new club. Six of those eight came in League One, and Moore produced two clean sheets in those appearances. He made one appearance in the League Cup and in the EFL Trophy Cup competition that season as well.  

2016/17 (Torquay United): Moore extended his loan spell for another season and started all 46 games in goal for Torquay United. He finished the season with 12 clean sheets, while playing 4,140 minutes in the National League.

2015/16 (Torquay United): On loan from Fleetwood Town, Moore made 12 appearances in the National League. He produced six clean sheets in those 12 appearances and played over 1,000 minutes for Torquay.
