Jacob Williams

Atlanta United 2 announced the signing of American midfielder Jacob Williams on Dec. 21, 2023. The Millersville, Maryland native joined ATL UTD 2 after one year at Crown Legacy FC, the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of Charlotte FC.

Williams made 24 appearances, including 15 starts, during the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season, finishing the year with three goals and two assists. Prior to his time with the Crown Legacy, he spent four years at Navy, where he garnered United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region honors in each of his four seasons, Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2021 and First Team All-Patriot League in three of his four seasons. He finished his collegiate career with 59 appearances, 23 goals and eight assists.

Before he joined Navy, Williams played for MLS NEXT side Baltimore Armour where he led the team in scoring during the 2017-18 season.

2023 (Crown Legacy FC): Appeared in 24 matches, making 15 starts, for Eastern Conference champions Crown Legacy FC. Williams scored three goals and recorded two assists.
