will continue to provide a Chief Medical Officer for the First Team

ATLANTA (March 2, 2018) – Atlanta United today announced a multi-year partnership with Piedmont Healthcare to become the Official Adult Healthcare Partner of Atlanta United and Atlanta United 2. Piedmont Healthcare will continue to provide a Chief Medical Officer for the First Team and will now also serve in that capacity for ATL UTD 2. Those responsibilities include overseeing and providing medical care to all of the club’s professional players.

“We are pleased to announce Piedmont Healthcare as the Official Adult Healthcare Partner of Atlanta United,” said Atlanta United president Darren Eales. “Piedmont Healthcare is well-known as a leading medical provider and we are confident that this partnership will continue to allow us to provide the very best care for our first team and ATL UTD 2 players.”

In addition, Piedmont Healthcare will receive increased exposure on match days through assets in stadium, on local television and radio broadcasts, as well as integration into Atlanta United’s social platforms. This includes the introduction of the “Life is Better when Atlanta United Wins” campaign, where Atlanta United will donate $1,000 to the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation for every Atlanta United win during the regular season.

“Piedmont Healthcare is proud to be Atlanta United’s Official Adult Healthcare Sponsor,” said Matt Gove, Chief Consumer Officer, Piedmont Healthcare. “Our commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care and a one-of-a-kind experience that always puts patients first, just as we have done for our community for more than 110 years, is a game-winning combination.”
