Campbell will join the U20s for two friendlies in Rogaska, Slovenia where it will face Croatia’s U-20s on Sept. 5 and the United Arab Emirates U-23 team on Sept. 9. Kanakimana joins Burundi for a pair of African Qualifiers for the FIFA 2022 World Cup against Tanzania on Sept. 4 and Sept. 8.

Campbell, 18, is receiving his first call-up to any level of the U.S. Youth National Teams. He has scored five goals across all matches for the U-20 and U-23 teams. Kanakimana is in his first season with ATL UTD 2 and leads the team with six goals in 14 appearances. The forward was named the USL Championship Player of the Week for Week 22 after he scored a hat trick including the game-winner in a 4-2 win against Loudoun United on Aug. 2.
