Located in Marietta, Georgia, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground is a 33-acre site serving as the club’s headquarters for its First Team, Second Team, Academy, technical and front office staff.

The training ground originally opened in 2017 as a $60 million, 30,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility housing the First Team, Academy and front office staff. After revealing plans on April 11, 2024 to expand and transform Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, the club unveiled the $23 million two-story, 20,000-square foot expansion which extends from and connects with the original building. The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground is a state-of-the-art facility with player health and well-being in mind, and it features the Emory Healthcare Studio, a first of its kind content production studio and dedicated space for the club’s Academy and front office associates. The total investment in the Marietta campus is in excess of $85 million, bolstering the reputation of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground as one of the most prestigious soccer facilities in North America.

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground includes six full-lenght pitches (four grass and two FieldTurf) and two warmup areas totaling more than 500,000-square feet of playing surface. One of the pitches, which can be seen from the balcony of the expansion, is a natural grass show pitch featuring a 2,500-seat stand.

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground features an indoor footprint of 50,000-square feet with dedicated spaces for the First Team and six Youth Development teams including a tactics room, a classroom, a full-service kitchen and cafeteria for players and staff, two gyms, two hydrotherapy plunge pools, environmental adaptation chamber, cognitive training room, recovery room and sauna.

Player development

One of the most impactful and important areas of the club are the ones dedicated to Player Development, from grassroots, youth soccer, the Academy (including six teams), and the second team, ATL UTD 2. At the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, Atlanta United has dedicated spaces for the players, coaches and staff of these areas, including a gym, locker rooms, and office spaces.

EMORY HEALTHCARE INTRO

The Emory Healthcare Studio is the centerpiece of the 20,000-square feet expansion to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, unveiled on September 30, 2025. The space houses digital, content production and business operations for Atlanta United, Atlanta United 2 and Academy teams, and includes Studio 17 which is equipped for multicamera shoots with a video wall, a custom lighting grid and more; Studio 5, which will house photography shoots, media day sessions and other video projects; a Press Conference Room for player introductions and media availability, and a podcast studio on the second floor. The Hub is Emory Healthcare Studio's fully integrated control room located right in the heart of the expansion. The Emory Healthcare Studio also gives the club more ability to host top clubs and international sides as the 2026 FIFA World Cup arrives to the United States next summer. The $23 million of investment brings the total for one of the preeminent soccer complexes in North America to $85 million.
