Atlanta United today announced that it has signed midfielder Andrew Jardines to a Short-Term Agreement for Saturday’s match against Inter Miami CF at Nu Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET, Apple TV, 92.9 The Game, La Mejor). This will be the second Short-Term Agreement for Jardines this season.

Per 2026 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, a club may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days). An individual player may be included on up to four MLS league season match rosters each season, however, that player may appear in no more than two MLS league season matches. An individual player may appear in any number of non-league games during the terms of his four Short-Term Agreements.

He’s made 16 appearances for the MLS NEXT Pro side in 2026, including 12 starts, and has tallied one goal and five assists. The midfielder made his professional debut on May 10 against Orlando City B and scored his first goal on June 13 against Chattanooga FC. He was a member of the 2025 U-18 team that defeated Inter Milan U-18 Academy to reach the semifinals of the Generations adidas Cup. In 2026, he tallied 20 total goal contributions in his final season for Atlanta’s U-18 side.
