Atlanta United home match sold out against Nashville SC

Atlanta is about to get rowdy on Saturday.

The Atlanta United home match on September 14 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium has sold out. More than 43,000 tickets have been distributed for Saturday's rivalry meeting with Nashville SC.

Along with the match, Atlanta United will be celebrating several big occasions. It's the club's annual match to honor Latin Heritage. To celebrate, the club launched the Somos Atlanta Collection, which will be available to purchase at the official Team Store at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on matchday.

Following the first team match between Atlanta United and Nashville SC, the clubs' Special Olympics Unified Teams will kick off. It's the first home match of the season for Atlanta's Unified Team. After the final whistle of the first team match, supporters are welcome to stay and watch the match in Sections 126C through 130C. Fans at home can stream the Unified match on atlutd.com/live.

Saturday is the first of back-to-back home matches for the 5-Stripes. On Wednesday, Sept. 18 the club hosts Inter Miami CF. With a month remaining in the regular season, Inter Miami CF sits in first place in the Eastern Conference standings with 59 points in the table and are the first team to clinch a spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

Atlanta United enters the September 14 matchup in 10th in the Eastern Conference, one spot below the playoff line. Including Saturday, the team has six matches remaining in the regular season before Decision Day.
