Atlanta United's Unified Team takes California by storm, beat Galaxy's Unified Team 3-2

Just like the first team, Atlanta United's Unified team went to Carson, California to matchup against the Los Angeles Galaxy's Unified team. After walking away with the 3-2 victory, the Unified team is now 2-0 on their season. Their first win of the year came back at GEODIS Park on Saturday, May 18 when they beat Nashville SC's Unified team 2-0.

Their next game willl be against Nashville's Unifed team again but this time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It will be held just after Atlanta United and Nashville SC's match on Saturday, September 14. 17s attending the match will be able to stay afterwards to cheer on the team, and fans not attending the match will be able to live stream it.

The Atlanta United Unified Team presented by Gallagher is a team of athletes (those with intellectual disabilities) and partners (those without intellectual disabilities) that come together to play soccer in an inclusive manner.

Throughout the year, the Unified Team will play against other MLS Unified teams and be given a professional team treatment with training, travel, and coverage. The Atlanta United Unified team is closely tied to the first team with players serving as First Team Unified Ambassadors, attending practices and cheer the Unified Team on at matches. This year, ambassadors are Brad Guzan and Tyler Wolff.
