Jay Fortune is officially off Atlanta United's availability report and is eligible to appear for the 5-Stripes. The midfielder last played July 17 against Nashville SC, having dealt with two separate hamstring injuries on each leg since then. His potential return Wednesday night would be a boost to the middle of the park for Atlanta United's rivalry match with Orlando City SC.Â
The midfield is where the action lies on Tuesday's availability report. Head coach Tata Martino said Tuesday that Fortune may not be a go to play 90 minutes but that he could see some action. If he's unable to play a full match, the 5-Stripes will look to the likes of Tristan Muyumba, Adrian Gill, Will Reilly and potentially other players to hold down the center of the pitch.Â
Cooper Sanchez and Steven Alzate are additions to the list, with Alzate questionable with an illness and Sanchez to miss the Orlando match in concussion protocol. New midfielder Giuliano Galoppo is still working out his visa to be granted eligibility to play.
