Three players made their ATL UTD 2 debuts in the loss to Detroit City, including defender Nelson Orji and midfielders Cristiano Bruletti and Emenike Nwogu.
Orji was a calming presence in his appearance off the bench, with the Nigerian intercepting two Detroit City passes and completing 83.3 percent of his passes in 26 minutes of play.
Orji’s fellow countryman, Nwogu found opportunities in his nine-minute cameo to progress the ball up the pitch from defensive midfield.Â
A member of the Atlanta United Academy, Bruletti dispossessed two Detroit City players in the 17-year-old’s 16 minutes on the pitch.
