ATLUTD-Mercedes-Benz-Stadium-5-Year-Anniversary

August 26 marks the five-year anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Since 2017, the stadium has proven to be a paragon of entertainment and sporting events, hosting world-class musical acts and serving as the home of Atlanta United and the Atlanta Falcons. In its first five years, the stadium has hosted nearly 250 events and over 11 million guests.

Not only has the stadium served as a venue for sports and entertainment, it's also been an important part of the Atlanta community. It served as a vaccination site during the Covid-19 pandemic. The stadium has been a model of environmental sustainability. Mercedes-Benz Stadium was the first LEED Platinum certified sports stadium in the nation and is committed to being Zero Waste.

Today, we celebrate our home venue and congratulate the stadium on its inaugural five years. We look forward to what the next five years will bring!
