MLS announces two changes to Atlanta United matches

ATLANTA (May 10, 2023) — Major League Soccer today announced two changes to Atlanta United Regular Season matches.

Atlanta’s match against New England Revolution at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Wednesday, May 31 will now kick-off at 7:00 p.m. (MLS Season Pass, FS1). The match was originally scheduled to kick-off at 7:30 p.m.

Atlanta’s road match against LAFC on Saturday, June 3 will now be played on either Wednesday, June 7 or Wednesday, Sept. 13. The date is contingent on LAFC reaching the quarterfinals of the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

  • If LAFC wins its USOC Round of 16 match, then the MLS match will be
    rescheduled for Sept. 13. LAFC’s Round of 16 opponent will be
    determined by a draw held on Thursday, May 11 with the game
    scheduled to be played May 23 or 24.
  • If LAFC loses its USOC Round of 16 match, then the MLS match will be
    rescheduled for June 7.
