Atlanta United released episode three of season three of its all-access video series Rooted in the Stripes, presented by AT&T. The episode, entitled "Turbulence", gives fans a look into the inner workings of the club as the 5-Stripes navigate the highs and lows of the 2025 MLS regular season. Available to watch on YouTube, the installment contains feature interviews with players and staff and behind-the-scenes video from training, matches and more.

"Turbulence", like the rest of the series, was produced entirely by Atlanta United's in-house video and broadcast production team and was directed by Sonya Ivashchenko.

The episode opens featuring Atlanta United's head chef Steve Yearwood and Front of House Manager Silvia Cisneros. They're the lifeblood of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground and have formed bonds with everyone in the building through food and familial treatment.

Brad Guzan put it best, saying "the heartbeat of Atlanta United happens right behind that stove."

Feature Interviews for "Turbulence" include:

  • Head Chef Steve Yearwood
  • Front of House Manager Silvia Cisneros
  • Midfielder Tristan Muyumba

Atlanta United's crown win of the season, the 4-3 comeback over New York City FC March 29, is a main feature of the episode. It also captures the next four games the 5-Stripes played afterward up through the Orlando City match, showcasing what the team is doing to bounce back from a poor run of form.

This chapter of Atlanta United's season has been defined by ups and down, and the mentality of the team is put on full display: they're not content with the way things stand. For an inside look at what makes the team tick and how they're rallying together, check out the newest episode here:
