Nu Stadium won't be the only new thing about Atlanta United's trip to face Inter Miami CF. Breel Embolo, the 5-Stripes' Designated Player signing, is a first-time entrant in the starting XI for head coach Tata Martino's team.

He, along with the rest of Atlanta United, will experience an away trip to Miami's recently-completed stadium for the first time. The match is currently in a weather delay and a new kickoff time will be determined shortly.

Joining Embolo in the attack are his two other Designated Player teammates: Miguel Almirón and Alexey Miranchuk. The trio's ability to combine in the attack in their first match sharing the pitch together very well may decide the result.

Behind them is a midfield with Tristan Muyumba, Will Reilly and Cooper Sanchez. Mauricio Amaro, another signing from the summer transfer window, won't start but will instead be available off the bench.

In defense, Elías Báez returns to complete an entirely Latin American unit with Tomás Jacob, Paulo Díaz and Júnior Alonso. Lucas Hoyos starts in goal, likely to eclipse 2000 minutes on the season. That unit will have to handle Inter Miami's firepower up front as MLS' foremost goalscoring team.

Here's the full starting XI for Atlanta United at Inter Miami CF:

Lucas Hoyos, Tomás Jacob, Júnior Alonso, Paulo Díaz, Elías Báez, Tristan Muyumba, Will Reilly, Cooper Sanchez, Alexey Miranchuk, Miguel Almirón (C), Breel Embolo

Reserves: Jayden Hibbert, Matt Edwards, Enea Mihaj, Adrian Gill, Steven Alzate, Mauricio Amaro, Sergio Santos, Fafa Picault, Luke Brennan
