A 19-year-old midfielder from Atlanta United’s Academy, Castro signed with ATL UTD 2 on July 5, 2018. While still a member of Atlanta United’s Academy, he made his ATL UTD 2 debut at Louisville City FC (5/19) as a substitute. Castro made his first professional start at Richmond Kickers (7/21).
2018 (ATL UTD 2): Castro made 12 appearances and seven starts. He scored one goal, the first of his professional career, against North Carolina FC (9/21).
2017-18 (Atlanta United Academy): Castro made 20 appearances, 16 starts, for the U-19s. He scored one goal.
2016-17 (Atlanta United Academy): Appeared in 31 matches and made 29 starts with the U-16 team while scoring four goals.
INTERNATIONAL: Castro has played for Honduras’ Youth National Teams and participated in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India where he made two appearances against Japan and France.
