Career Summary

Bashti was originally drafted No. 48 overall by Atlanta in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. He spent part of the 2019 season in USL League Two with San Francisco Glens SC before signing with ATL UTD 2 in August. He played four years at Stanford University where he won three consecutive NCAA National Championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and was named First Team All-Pac 12 in 2018.

 

2018 (ATL UTD 2): Bashti signed with Atlanta United 2 on Aug. 22, 2019 and made his professional debut Sept. 4 against Birmingham Legion FC. He made seven starts over nine appearances and scored one goal, his first professional tally in a 1-1 draw against Saint Louis FC on Sept. 28.

COLLEGE: Bashti played four years at Stanford University where he won three consecutive NCAA National Championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Bashti totaled 19 goals and 13 assists with Stanford and was named First Team All-Pac 12 in 2018 after scoring seven goals and adding six assists.

INTERNATIONAL: Bashti has spent time on the U.S. Youth National Team circuit, playing with the U-19s in Valencia, Spain in the summer of 2016 in the 33rd annual International U-20 Men's COTIF Tournament. He also represented the U-20s at the Dallas Cup in March 2016 and in Serbia in September 2015 for the Stevan Vilotic-Cele Tournament.
