Career Summary

Barajas is the first player in Atlanta United history to sign with the club after participating in the American Family Insurance Dream Tryouts. The midfielder from Atlanta, Georgia played under current Atlanta United Academy director Tony Annan in the U.S. Soccer Develop Academy from 2012-14 with Georgia United. Barajas earned a scholarship with the University of Kentucky where he played for four seasons.

2018 (ATL UTD 2): Barajas made 13 appearances and seven starts his rookie year. He made his professional and club debut at Ottawa Fury FC (5/12) when he entered as a substitute in the second half. Made his first start at Nashville SC (6/30) and recorded his first professional assist against North Carolina FC (9/21).

COLLEGE: Barajas made 69 appearances during his four years at the University of Kentucky. He scored four goals and dished out three assists. The Wildcats reached the NCAA Tournament in three of his four seasons while Barajas earned All-Conference USA Team honors.

YOUTH: Barajas played at Mount Paran Christian School and at Georgia United under now-Atlanta United academy directory Tony Annan. He was a team captain with Georgia United and scored six goals in two seasons.
