In July, Atlanta United announced the signing of our newest player Edwin Mosquera. Mosquera arrived from Colombia on August 2 and trained with the team for the first time the following day. The Colombian winger started his career in Deportivo Independiente Medellín, where he quickly moved up the ranks and joined the first team only three years after signing. At Medellín, Mosquera played a total of 34 matches. Then, he was then loaned out to Juventude of Brazil’s Série A and later to Aldosivi of the Argentine first division.
Since his arrival to Atlanta United, Mosquera has trained with the team and met with media. We sat down with our no. 21 to get to know him a little more.
