Last night the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team punched their ticket to the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 as they defeated Cuba 6-2 in their final match of the classification stage of the CONCACAF Championship in Panama.

Featured on the U.S. U-17 roster for the tournament are Atlanta United Homegrowns Andrew Carleton and Chris Goslin as well as a member of the Atlanta United Academy, Zyen Jones.

The U.S. kicked off the tournament by topping Jamaica, Mexico, and El Salvador to finish an undefeated 3-0-0 in the group stage, moving on to the classification stage to face Honduras and Cuba.

After defeating Honduras 3-0, the U-17s entered the match against Cuba last night needing a tie or a win to officially qualify for the FIFA World Cup and secure a spot in the CONCACAF Championship Final. The team sealed their fate with a dominant 6-2 victory, including a goal from Jones and this cheeky chip from Carleton that earned a #5 spot in the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 plays of the night:

The U.S. U-17s will compete in the tournament final against Mexico at 4:00 p.m. ET on Sunday May 7 and will be streamed online on the CONCACAF YouTube channel.
