The kickoff of the Gold Cup meant a well-deserved break for the stars of Atlanta United. And the players took full advantage of a rare weekend of relaxation. Here's what the players were up to over the Gold Cup weekend:

Left back Greg Garza took a break from the rainy weather to hit Panama City beach for some family time:

Atlanta's other MLS All-Star, Miguel Almirón, got some time in the sun with friends at the pool:

Speaking of beach time, Mark Bloom headed to the Florida panhandle for some family time in the sand:

Julian Gressel got some time on the water himself as well:

Kenwyne Jones took advantage of the down time to get a fresh cut:

While Yamil Asad took the time to see friends, and spread the word about Atlanta sports:

And finally, Leandro González Pirez had a little help decompressing with man's best friend:

All in all, an important chance for the players to rest and decompress after a heavy stretch of games. Now it's back to work with a fresh mind heading into the second half of the season, with the next match against Orlando City coming up next week.
