Availability report: Newcomer status updates for Saturday's trip to Miami

Breel Embolo and Mauricio Amaro are officially eligible to play for Atlanta United, and the two were left off the club's Friday availability report. The reinforcements will be at head coach Tata Martino's disposal when the 5-Stripes face Inter Miami CF at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday night.

The two players named as either questionable or out for tomorrow are Jay Fortune and newly acquired loan signing Giuliano Galoppo. Fortune is working his way back from another hamstring injury, this one on the other leg. The two knocks have sidelined him since the Nashville match July 17. He's been doing individual drills in training over the last two weeks, and his status for Miami is still to be decided.

The club will hope Giuliano Galoppo's visa process will be a speedy one as they look to bring the midfielder into the fold. For now, he will not be eligible to play.

Martino and his staff will have more options to choose from Saturday night than a week ago in Charlotte. Elías Báez returns from a Yellow Card Suspension, and Luke Brennan is healthy after suffering an ankle injury. Those two, plus Embolo and Amaro having their visas sorted, provide the 5-Stripes with energy up and down the pitch.
