Chris Goslin became the second Homegrown Player in Atlanta United history when he signed with the club as a 16-year old in October of 2016. Goslin has been a fixture with the US National Team since 2012 when he made his debut with the U-14 team. A product of Atlanta United’s academy after joining from Georgia United, Goslin spent part of the 2016 season with USL side Charleston Battery. Goslin started four games and recorded one assist for the U.S. U-17 squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.
2017 (Atlanta United): Made one start with USL-affiliate Charleston Battery.
2015/16 (Georgia United): Scored three goals in 11 appearances for Georgia United’s U-18s. Split time between the club and the U.S. U-17 residency program.
INTERNATIONAL: Goslin has represented the U.S. National Team at the U-15, U-16 and U-17 levels. Goslin was a starter for the U.S. U-17’s at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India where he helped lead the team to the quarterfinals, starting four games and tallying one assist. Goslin played four games and started three as the U.S. won the 2016 Montaigu International Tournament in France. Goslin has scored twice for the U-17s, the first coming against England (Dec. 2, 2015) in a 2-3 loss. His lone goal in 2016 came against Canada (April 15) in a 3-1 win. Teammate Andrew Carleton also scored in both games.
