In conjunction with Major League Soccer’s Summer Beat campaign, Atlanta United will be hosting a Friday night concert featuring all Atlanta artists at Center Stage in Midtown on May 26. The concert is set to feature Mike Will Made-It, as well as DJ Swift from Outkast, and a special guest to be named at a later date.
The event is part of MLS Summer Beat, an initiative driven by the league and its clubs to connect music and soccer. Leading up to Memorial Day Weekend, the campaign will showcase the close connection between music, soccer, and MLS, involving clubs, players, and fans, culminating in an in-market showcase of music talent to kick off marquee matchups around the league. There will be performances in three MLS markets Seattle, San Jose as well as Atlanta which will be headlined by Marietta native, Mike Will Made-It.
Born and raised in the ATL, Mike Will Made-It has climbed his way to the top of the producing ranks in the modern music industry. The 27-year-old has collaborated with popular artists such as Rihanna, 2 Chainz, Miley Cyrus, Gucci Mayne and most notably, last year he co-produced and co-wrote Beyoncé’s "Formation," which earned him, and Beyoncé, Grammy nominations for song and record of the year.
Tickets for the event will first be made available to Founding Members only via an exclusive pre-sale beginning Friday, May 19. Through email, Atlanta United Founding Members will be able to reserve 1 or 2 tickets depending on the quantity of season tickets purchased. Following the pre-sale over the weekend, tickets will then be open to the public beginning on Monday, May 22.
