Atlanta Dream's Tiffany Hayes hammers in Golden Spike for ATL UTD

On Saturday night, the Golden Spike was hammered home once again, this time courtesy of Atlanta Dream shooting guard Tiffany Hayes.

It was big weekend not only for Atlanta United with their dominant 4-1 victory, but for the Dream as well as they tipped off for their 10th WNBA season on Sunday. The Golden Spike tradition is one that stems from the city's railroad roots and binds its diverse, international, population together, so it's only fitting to showcase the unity between two of Atlanta's sports franchises via ATL UTD's matchday ritual.

Who will be next to hammer the Golden Spike? We'll find out on Sunday, May 28 as Atlanta United host New York City FC at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
